Summer begins to wind down in September. Schools are back in session, and vacations are mostly over. But the events schedule in the Southern Tier of New York and Northeast Pennsylvania continue to be busy.

One event that looks to be a fun one to attend in September, has to do with a Binghamton native. According to the Rod Serling Memorial Foundation, SerlingFest 2024, a Rod Serling Festival is coming to the Broome County Forum Theater on Washington Street, Binghamton, on Friday and Saturday, September 13th and 14th.

Sunday, September 15th, the Rod Serling statue dedication ceremony will be held at Recreation Park, off Beethoven Street on the West Side of Binghamton.
