On Saturday, December 14th, the Ross Park Zoo at 60 Morgan Road in Binghamton will be in the holiday spirit with their annual family holiday tradition.

Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy sweets and hot beverages, plus take photos with Mrs. Claus from  11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mrs. Claus and her helpers will be in the heated Greenlight Networks Wolf Woods Education Center at the Ross Park Zoo.

Holiday music will be performed by Tri-Cities Opera singers on December 14th, along with holiday music filling the Education Center throughout the event.

Kids will also get to enjoy a special coloring craft before or after they visit with Mrs. Claus. Admission to the event is included in the regular zoo admission ticket.

The Ross Park Zoo opens at 10 a.m. at the daily winter admission rate of $7 for non-members, age 13 and up, and $5 for children ages 3-12. Ross Park Zoo members and children 2 and under are free.

Visitors to the zoo in the winter season may catch a glimpse of the animals in a different way than at other times of the year, including the Arctic Foxes sporting their winter coats, the Red Pandas tumbling and wrestling in their habitat, and the Snow Leopard relishing the bite in the air.
