
Search for Double Homicide Suspect Underway in Upstate New York
UPDATE: The Syracuse Police Department reports that they arrested the suspect wanted in connection to a double homicide. A tip from a citizen helped lead to his arrest around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 18th.
The Syracuse Police Department is seeking assistance from the public as they continue their search for a suspect involved in a double homicide case.
The individual in question is identified as 43-year-old David Huff. Huff is described as having a height of approximately five feet, six inches, brown hair, and a beard. At the time he was last seen, Huff was wearing a black t-shirt paired with blue jeans.
The Incident
The Syracuse Police Department reports that the incident took place on Monday, March 17th, at about 9:34 p.m. The location of the incident was reported in the 100 block of Roney Road, following a distress call regarding a shooting. When the officers arrived, they discovered an adult and a child with apparent gunshot wounds who were pronounced dead at the scene.

As the search for the suspect persists, the Syracuse Police Department urges anyone with relevant information about the whereabouts of David Huff to come forward.
