This Thursday, April 17th, generosity will take center stage as Auchinachie will present a $1,000 donation to the Heart of the Catskills Humane Society as part of their monthly charitable initiative, Auchinachie Cares.

This supports the Humane Society’s tireless mission to create brighter futures for animals in need.

A Shelter Full of Heart
Heart of the Catskills Humane Society isn’t your average shelter. Nationally recognized by the ASPCA, the organization is devoted to placing every adoptable pet in a loving home. Beyond the basics, they provide socialization, enrichment through playgroups, and peaceful nature walks.

Their work doesn't stop there—they champion humane education, run foster programs, and advocate for the spaying and neutering of all pets to help reduce overpopulation and ensure lifelong well-being.

A Word from the Heart (and Holleran)
Chris Holleran of Auchinachie Services shared his thoughts on the donation, saying, “Groups like these, especially in more rural, underserved areas, are a vital resource for their communities.”

One Gift at a Time: The Story of Auchinachie Cares
Auchinachie Cares began its mission in September 2016 with a simple but powerful concept: highlight one deserving nonprofit each month with a $1,000 donation.

The goal is twofold—boost awareness for local organizations and celebrate the incredible impact they have on the community. Over time, these monthly moments of giving have become an ongoing story of kindness, support, and gratitude.
