Free Community Night Coming to Binghamton

Paul Battisti became our Broome County District Attorney beginning on January 1st, 2024. He has done so many things for our community to try and bring it together. It's not an easy job but he's been handling it with dignity as he tries to make our area better.

That's why the Broome County District Attorney’s Office is inviting all families to a free Community Night in Binghamton. The event will be held this Thursday, August 27th, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. It will be held in the parking lot of St. Paul’s Church at 282 Chenango Street, rain or shine.

Free Activities and Giveaways for Children

The evening will include music, an ice cream truck and activities for families. While your their, the children can also receive free backpacks and bicycle helmets. You may want to get there early because the supplies could go fast and once they are gone, they are gone.

Meet Local First Responders

A special thanks go to the Binghamton Police Department and Binghamton Fire Department as they will take the time to be a part of this fantastic event. This will give everyone an opportunity to see the police and fire vehicles up close and meet some of the area’s first responders. This is a great way to interact with the people that rush into a problem while many of us (myself included) are going the other way.

Community Resources Will Be Available

Local organizations will have tables with helpful resources and activities throughout the evening. The Binghamton Community Night is free and open to the public.
