A manager said about 700 people visited the place on Saturday and another 500 stopped by on Sunday.
The property is being sold to Williams Auto Group of Sayre for use as a vehicle sales and service facility.
Skate Estate was acquired by Marchuska Development in July 2024 for $880,000.
A short time later, the new owners removed the "Putt Estate" miniature golf course and the 34-foot-high "Water Wiz" water slide.
The planned sale to Williams Auto Group was confirmed in January. Vestal officials last month approved permits for the company's plans for the site.
The proposal to operate a new business at the location drew some opposition. More than 1,300 people signed an online petition "to protect our beloved Skate Estate."
Justin Marchuska, the owner of the property, told WNBF News he expects the sale to close this Friday.
Dalton Williams, vice president of Williams Auto Group, did not return phone calls seeking information about when the company's new Vestal operation will open.
